Made it into Amarillo 2 hours late. Cushioning back to Dallas on a deadhead.
Bus leaking coolant. Already over an hour late. Waiting for a replacement bus from garage.
Called into dispatch, there is an open piece of work at noon, driver appears to be off, notified to take one way open run to Amarillo Texas.
Arrived in Oklahoma City Oklahoma. No work showing. Going to hotel to get fresh.
Received a short call (less than 2 hours) to cushion to Oklahoma City Oklahoma. Was set up for a manual call, dispatcher forgot to call.
Book back on the extra board. Feeling a lot better.
Stomach problems apprently were not heat related. Webt to Doctor this morning, will be off at least through Wednesday.
Having adverse reaction to heat over last few days. Booked off sick.
Battery disconnect solved the issue with the gauges, however while I was waiting during the disconnect, another driver showed up, he told dispatch he would take the bad bus as is, that they were going to pull me off the run and send me to Amarillo Texas. I told him […]
