Made it into Amarillo Texas. Dispatch seems sorely lacking in competence. The Dallas board is depleted, but they cushioned two of us to Amarillo, one to bring a deadhead back to Dallas, one to get fresh. The first driver never made to the Amarillo bus, so I was to pull the deadhead back to Dallas. Upon arrival in Amarillo there are now seven drivers on the board (including 3 Amarillo drivers and a Dallas driver already here, with no work. I was assigned the deadhead back to Dallas Texas, unfortunately the bus I had to deadhead from Amarillo to Dallas is still sitting in Denver Colorado. Gone to trhe hotel to get fresh. Have not been posting the problems with dispatch before now, but it is getting so bad, I am going to start posting details, since the blog is for people that are thinking about coming to Greyhound as drivers.
This is going to be a LONG HOT summer on the Dallas extraboard!
