Made it into Abilene Texas. Roads were fine. Lots of challenges though.
Through schedule was over three hours late getting in. Had to sift through passengers as they were loading, could not take anyone going through Shreveport, Texarkana, or up to Oklahoma City or Tulsa Oklahoma. Loads of angry passengers, Left with thirteen.
After I left Odessa, elderly female passenger in the front seat was trying to convince me I was lost. After I showed her a sign to Fort Worth she started reading all the signs out loud. She did stop when I asked her to… Was not a fun evening…
Got to Abilene Texas and was notified that Dallas Texas was shut down. Spent the last hour taking passengers to a hotel, and trying to find a place to park the bus (driver's hotel parking lot was full). Finally at the driver's hotel.
