I'm fresh in 30 minutes. I was told there would be deadheads going back to Dallas Texas. Called into dispatch. There are no deadheads yet, they will be coming in from Denver. I asked dispatch when I could expect to work and was told "It'll be a while." There is an open run to Denver showing at 3:25 am. However there is an Amarillo driver working his day off. There is also a possible double to Albuquerque leaving at 2:40 am, but that may or may not go. I find myself with no idea of when I can expect to work, but having to try and get enough rest to be fresh when dispatch finally makes some decisions on what is happening. I am having a hard time dealing with these people now (after getting called in last night omn 30 minutes sleep), hence the commentary today. We are expected to be ready to go to work, but the company often cannot or will not provide no guidance as to when we can expect to work (which is irequired by the contract)..
