I received an email from my Facebook friend Jim Doster: “I read that you create websites for churches. I am now the Interim Pastor at Calvary Baptist Church in Trinidad TX. You have a placeholder site for us, but I would be interested in having a more permanent and professional looking website. The church has only 12 members at present so cost would be a factor. Would you consider building a website for the church and what would be the process? ”
I replied, “Hey Brother, I appreciate you reaching out and expressing your interest in having a more permanent and professional looking website for Calvary Baptist Church.”
Brother Jim replied ” As the Interim Pastor, I believe having an appealing online presence could greatly benefit our small congregation. Given our limited budget with only 12 members, it would be helpful to discuss any potential cost considerations and explore the process of building a website that suits our needs.”
Brother Doster called me, and I explained to Pastor Doster that we do not charge for anything we do in our ministry. In talking with him, brother Jim decided on cbctrinidad.com as a domain name. I set up a WordPress website for Calvary Baptist Church in Trinidad using the content Dr. Doster provided.
I am updating the website for him as he provides more content.
