I just got back from my third Eligard shot. I am a wimp, I don’t like pain. On a scale from 1-10 I’d rate the pain at a 6. After the pain of the injection, the burning started. Again it was probably a six. That was 45 minutes ago, it is still a 4.
After the last injection, incontinence became a problem again. The day after the last shot I ended up with a lot of pain in my knees.
The doctor is giving me a prescription for a weak bladder to see if we can solve the incontinence. This is injection 3 of 6, so I am half way there.
The good news is the cancer is still not detectible.
