I was called in. I told the dispatcher I would not be able to make a 7:20 report time, if she wanted me to report I would get there when I could. I also told her it was not safe to be driving down to work. She asked me what “are you saying?” I told her company policy is “if you can’t do it safely don’t do it” and asked her if she wanted me to violate company policy. She said “okay Mr. Hoffman, goodbye. I have no idea what my status is.
